Learn emergency first aid to mitigate the impacts of injuries and other medical emergencies.

What will be covered in this course:

Scene Assessment and Safety
Medical Emergencies (asthma, allergic reactions, choking, heart attack, stroke, diabetes, seizures, shock, etc.)
Injury Emergencies (bleeding, wound care, broken bones, sprains, burns, electrocution, head, neck, and spinal injuries, etc.)
Environmental Emergencies (bites, stings, heat exhaustion, hypothermia, poisons, chemical and fire, etc.)

Students will receive an electronic certification card (eCard) issued by BEST CPR USA at the end of class valid for two years. Training complies with all Washington State (WISHA) and Federal (OSHA) standards and meets the requirements for childcare and industry.
