BESTCPRUSA follows the current guidelines recommended by ILCOR, the International Liason Committee on Resuscitation. BESTCPRUSA, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and other national training associations rely on ILCOR to recommend best practices and to update the guidelines every 5 years. All of our courses also comply with Federal OSHA guidelines as well as state and local guidelines for workplace hands-on training. We offer American Heart Association course completion cards for an additional fee.
While online courses may provide an introduction to course content, CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) is a motor skill, not just a cognitive skill. Performing CPR requires physical repetition to learn effective techniques and to practice cooperation with other rescuers. Most agencies and employers will not accept online-only training. If you have already completed an online course, we will review your completion certificate and conduct the appropriate SKILLS CHECK to complete the required hands-on component and finalize your training. We reserve the right to refuse an external online course which does not meet our strict criteria for professional training.
We're ready to help. Whether you have a simple question or need a custom course, we can get you started.
