Not sure which class to take? This combined course is the most commonly required class for non-medical employment. Meets all workplace standards for basic first aid providers. Includes Adult, Pediatric, and Infant CPR protocols.

What will be covered in this course:

First Aid includes the following topics:

Scene Assessment and Safety
Medical Emergencies (asthma, allergic reactions, choking, heart attack, stroke, diabetes, seizures, shock, etc.)
Injury Emergencies (bleeding, wound care, broken bones, sprains, burns, electrocution, head, neck, and spinal injuries, etc.)
Environmental Emergencies (bites, stings, heat exhaustion, hypothermia, poisons, chemical and fire, etc.)

CPR/AED includes the following topics:

Adult CPR with AED (use of defibrillator)
Child CPR/AED
Infant CPR/AED
Choking

Students will receive an electronic certification card (eCard) through BEST CPR USA at the end of class valid for two years. Training complies with all Washington State (WISHA) and Federal (OSHA) requirements for childcare and industry. We also offer First Aid and CPR classes in Spanish
